Rodeina Fouad is a visual artist based in Egypt, with a B.A in Visual Arts and Political Science from the American University in Cairo. Her work is based on multi-media installations. Fouad’s artwork arises from conceptual and research-based practices. Her works focus mainly on archival, philosophical, historical, and political issues. She has participated in several exhibitions and at numerous exhibition spaces, such as the Something Else Biennale, the Sharjah Art Gallery, collaborative works with the Nomad Curator and American-Afghani artist Saks Afridi, Medrar’s Roznama 8th and 9th edition and took part at Arcade Gallery, an Athens-based private museum and many more. She has also coordinated several exhibitions and is currently working as a curator, alongside her artistic practices. Her last show, was a duo show at Ard, exploring “the survival of the 21st century”.
رودينا فؤاد هي فنانة بصرية تقيم في مصر، حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في الفنون البصرية والعلوم السياسية من الجامعة الأمريكية في القاهرة. ترتكز أعمالها على التركيبات الفنية متعددة الوسائط، وتنطلق من ممارسات مفاهيمية وبحثية. تركز أعمال فؤاد بشكل رئيسي على القضايا الأرشيفية، الفلسفية، التاريخية والسياسة
شاركت في عدة معارض وفي العديد من المساحات الفنية، مثل بينالي "سَمَثِنغ إلس"، ومعرض الشارقة للفنون، وأعمال تعاونية مع "ذا نوماد كيوريتور" والفنان الأمريكي-الأفغاني ساكس أفريدي، كما شاركت في النسختين الثامنة والتاسعة من معرض "روزنامه" في مدرار، بالإضافة إلى مشاركتها في معرض "أركيد" و متحف خاص في أثينا، وغيرها من المشاركات.
